What is a good turnip price? The highest and the lowest
Every Sunday marks a time for bold action, a time for steely-eyed determination in the face of uncertain results. Today Daisy Mae once again arrives in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, selling as many turnips as you have bells, a few roots bouncing off his head for good measure. There are a lot of uncertainties in the Stalk Market, but with the right information you can at least increase your chances of getting a good return. I’m putting on 400,000 this week, and who knows? I might always have some more before Daisy Mae leaves at noon.
Purchase price: On Sunday, the most important information for today is your purchase price. This also fluctuates, but not as much as the sale price.
Community data suggests the buy price is still between 90 and 110, so if you have something in the 90s, you have a good price on turnips. If you’re in the 100 mark, maybe try somewhere else. My price today was 100 which wasn’t high enough to make me want to try someone else’s island. In the end, it won’t make a difference whether or not you get a good return.
Sale price: As we have already noted, the sale prices change twice a day: once at the start of the day and once at noon. The price here is extremely variable, so you can sell either at a large loss or at a huge profit.
I’m not sure there is a lower limit on turnip prices. A “bad” price is something below what you bought, but I see them priced at 40-70, a reasonable amount. Do not approach this with a 10 foot pole. I’ve heard of prices as low as $ 15.
A good price is in the eye of the beholder. If you’re playing alone I’d say anything over 200 is a good price: there’s no guarantee you’ll see this in a week, and certainly no guarantee you’ll see anything bigger.
However, if you use social media and / or a group of friends to expand the network, you can stick it out for a better price. A “good” price here is probably anything above 500: you’re getting somewhere in the neighborhood of a 5X return with that, and any investor will tell you it’s probably a good deal. On Twitter and elsewhere, I regularly see prices going up to 650. I haven’t seen a price above 650 yet, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist: if you have one. , send a screenshot. Heard the rumor of 800 but not seen the proof.
As usual, cooperation is the best way to get a good price. There are also some predictive tools that you can use to try to figure out how far the price will go, but I have to play around with them before I write them here.
